Kids Color Cuff Metalsmithing Workshop

Join us for a workshop @ Alloy Metalsmithing Community to make a colorful cuff bracelet! 

Kids ages 6 - 18 are welcome for this fun, hands-on, introduction to metalsmithing.

Students will start with a 1/2 inch wide metal bracelet that can be textured using hammers and a large selection of stamps. Bracelets will then be shaped, a patina added, and finished using Prismacolor pencils for pops of color!

No experience necessary --however- children must be strong enough to swing a hammer responsibly.

Drop off is optional; children who need assistance crafting with a hammer should attend with an adult.

This workshop is a great start to familiarize yourself with a couple of the tools and techniques needed to create metal jewelry. It’s also a ton of fun and a wonderful experience!
