Our Mission
KC Farm School at Gibbs Road empowers individuals of all ages, ancestries, and abilities
through on-farm, hands-on experiences and vocational education connecting to land and
soil, food, community, and opportunity.
Logistics + Details
◆ If arriving by car or van, parking is available across the street at Common
Ground (2443 S. 42nd Street KCK).
➔ Please dress properly for the farm. Dress for the weather. Close-toed shoes are
required. Layers are recommended. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.
➔ Please have all visitors bring a reusable water bottle.
➔ A gender-neutral restroom, first-aid kit, and drinking water are available on-farm.
➔ Please note that we do have bees on the farm. If anyone has a bee allergy (or any
life-threatening allergy), please bring the appropriate medicine/epipen, and make
reference in the liability waiver form when submitted.
Poor Weather + Cancellations
➔ Visits are rarely canceled due to weather conditions. If inclement weather is
forecasted, cancellations will happen within 24 hours.
