THURSDAY: Antiques Scavenger Hunt + Picnic/Lunch + Thrift Shopping (Tweens/Teens)

This event is for Supporters only. Anyone can become a Supporter by subscribing to our website as an annual donation, and scholarships are available for hard times when needed.

All attendees must have completed the AnySchoolers Waiver of Liability Agreement.

This is not a drop-off event. All teens under 16 years old must have an Adult on Duty who is responsible for their physical, emotional and relational safety. If a parent is unable to attend, the name of the Adult on Duty must be in the RSVP :)

Bring at least $10 to spend at the antique mall, in case you find a cool little thing you'd like to take home. The third floor of the mall is entirely thrift clothing, and we can stay all afternoon and shop together if we like! The Antique Mall closes at 6pm. The antique mall has coffee, water, and a soda machine.

The $1 per tween/teen is a small attendance accountability fee and will be a donation to AnySchoolers (501c3 non-profit organization).  Hard times? Email anyschoolers@gmail.com for a special code for a free ticket to this event, as long as you guarantee your tween/teen's attendance. This is not a drop off event and a parent or adult guardian will be required to stay on site.

River Market Antiques has a large mural of Lewis and Clark Expedition on the side of the building.

They're expecting us and excited about our group coming to visit. We'll meet in the front lobby by the front desk, discussed the rules of the scavenger hunt, then spend time together in 30,000 square feet of space! The 5th Street location for River Market Antiques has several coffee shops, ice cream, sandwich shops and restaurants to get lunch... Made in KC Trolley Cafe, Betty Rae's Ice Cream, Thou Mayest, Il Lazzarone Pizza, Freestyle Poke, etc. Or you can bring your own lunch, and we'll find a lovely place to sit outdoors if you'd like to save money!
