Adventure Club is a bi-weekly invitation to explore the great outdoors while building community + engaging in experiential learning: hikes, nature centers, playgrounds, sprinkled with occasional field-trips and a pinch of volunteering. Everyone is welcome— come adventure with us!
Let’s adventure together! We will meet at the Nature Trail at Unity Village (also known as the Carl L. Chinnery Trail) trailhead— the trailhead is immediately east of the Unity office complex and is marked with a large sign. Park in the parking lot adjacent to the trail head.
The Carl L. Chinnery Trail features crushed gravel paths through rolling hills that run parallel a creek that occasionally breaks into waterfalls— so bring your creek play attire! The trail also features limestone outcroppings, and a must-see natural bridge that was a landmark for pioneers, and rumored to be one of the hideouts for the famous outlaw —Jessie James.
