Slow Burn 2022 - 2023: The Phoenix Rising

This is the space for the annual Slow Burn supporters class where we will journey through time and space to see how various cultures around the world worked with the idea of the phoenix rising. Through our journey, we will spend time with the ancient people from Greece, Egypt, Persia, South Africa, the Americas, and many more. We will then connect the ideas of the phoenix to our own cultures and lives. We will tell stories and poems and make art and other images as we move throughout this year together. Each month will include a mix of activities, suitable for varying ages including adults. Most activities will be adaptable. We look forward to seeing you in this space every month as we release another version of the phoenix rising. Thank you for being a supporter.
