Max Capacity Reached! - Valentine's Party! (Kansas City Metro)

Please do not just show up at this event, as it is a registration-only, sold out event, and we have maxxed out the building's fire code capacity!

Hi There Valentine's Friends! 

We are so excited to share the FIRST annual AnySchoolers Valentine's Party with you!! The event is sold out with a waiting list, so if you are not able to come with some advanced notice, please contact us through the website chat feature or email back to anyschoolers@gmail.com, so we can open up those spots for other families. 

Please plan to arrive at Lakeside Nature Center at 10:15. If you're able to help with a quick set up, arrive at 10am. The address is 4701 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132, USA. When you arrive, the event will be to the left..please check in at the registration table, so we know you're with us and can give you a warm smile! Volunteers will be wearing HEART CROWNS! There will be craft stations set up throughout the room, and you can have your child place their Valentine's day box with the others on the window shelf. We will do crafting until 11am, when we will start an exchange line!

In order to get a head count under the room capacity, we had to count adults in the tickets as well. There are a total of 24 families. Assuming that each order has one adult, there will be approximately 51 children. That's an estimate! Please bring Valentines for 51 children. Each of your children should have 51 Valentines to distribute, and each child should receive 51 Valentines. Please bring a Valentine mailbox for each of your children (there will be approximately 51 mailboxes total). 

Our volunteers will have extra Valentines, and if you need assistance supplementing Valentines for your family, let us know. Remember, it can be as simple as a cute construction paper heart with your child's name on it! No need to get expensive or fancy! Just have fun!

Just a note: Based on the number on the waiting list, next year will be even bigger, and we will need your help! The volunteers planning this event love you so much, and we are thrilled to spend time with you on February 14th. Being part of the volunteer team is a hoot, and you should join in the fun!!

Open activity for any homeschoolers and a great pod group activity for subscribers! Registration required due to room rental/capacity. $4/person (adults and children), $3/person for subscribers. Subscribers - make sure you are logged in to register in order to receive the discount! 

What to bring:

• Valentine's collection box (Most kids decorate a shoebox and cut a mail slot in the top!)
• Valentines for 75 children from each participating child/teen (You can make these by hand, print something on your printer, or go to the store and buy some ready-made ones. If you'd like to distribute a treat like candy, little toys, stickers, or pencils, please do not include any tree nuts and consider gluten free options for some children. If you'd like to help with setting up, please arrive at 9:55am, and we will set up for 20 minutes from 9:55-10:15am.
